Wells houses lose water supply
A considerable number of properties in the Wells area currently have no water due to a burst water main affecting supply and water pressure.
Bristol Water are aware of the problem and posted a notice on their website at 21:43 advising residents that they are attempting to rectify what they regard as an emergency situation.

If you need to buy a bottle or two of water, Budgens is open to 11pm and further afield the Tesco in Midsomer Norton is open until midnight.
One Wells resident expressed concern that they would have enough water to make the baby's bottles for the night saying "I hope it will be fixed soon."

This follows a major power outage which affected homes across the city earlier this afternoon.
UPDATE:
The fault was fixed during the night and all houses should experience no further problems as a result of this incident.
