Wells girl to part with hair to help Little Princesses
A BIG-HEARTED girl from Wells has agreed to have her long hair cut for a good cause.
Rosie Jones, aged nine, will get around 14 inches snipped which will go to the charity Little Princesses.
They will then turn it into real-hair wigs for boys and girls across the UK and Ireland who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
Rosie got her friends to sponsor her, with any money going to Cancer Research UK in memory of her gran.
She set herself the target of raising £100.
In less than two days she had completely smashed her target.
At the time of going to press it was £180.
Rosie’s mum, Natasha, said: “She’s a little nervous about getting her hair cut as she loves her hair but when she saw how much had been donated her face was brilliant.”
