Wells Colts win at Midsomer Norton to stay top of table
Midsomer Norton Colts 12 Wells Colts 29
Wells Colts held on to top spot in the Dorset & Wilts Merit Table West Division thanks to victory at Midsomer Norton on Sunday.
The visitors started positively and had all the early possession and territory but could not make the most of it as they over complicated play and lacked the aggression show in previous fixtures.
Norton fought back well until Harry Chubb used his agility and pace to get over the line for the first of Wells' five tries, converted by Oscar Townend.

Wells picked up their game as further tries followed from Marco Hiscox and captain Will Greenman.
An untidy second half saw the returning Zack Nixon score from the wing but Norton responded with their first try.
Great running by Greenman earned his second try, converted by Townend but Norton had the final word after good work from their forwards.
Having won four out of four so far, the colts face their toughest test yet away to nearest rivals Chew Valley on Sunday.
