Wells City Harriers senior men finish fourth at Gwent Cross-Country League meeting in Pontypool
More than 30 Wells City Harriers were in action at the Gwent Cross-Country League fixture in Pontypool on Saturday.
The fixture celebrated the 50th anniversary of the league, which began at the same venue.
Although some positions and times are yet to be confirmed, the 12-strong senior men's team finished fourth in the Division 1 standings.
Jack Bancroft was the fastest for Wells, finishing 21st in a field of 379. Lloyd Collins and Steve Masters were third and fourth respectively in the V50 category.

For the women, Emily Smith ran a great race to take ninth place overall after opting to run in the harder and longer women's race rather than the under-20 competition.
