Keynsham nearly went ahead on 20 minutes when they sent a header against the crossbar, while Wells continued to attack through full-backs James Russell and Oliver Bryant supplied, albeit without creating clear opportunities.
Wells upped the tempo after the break, with central midfielders Charlie Crook and Tyler Cornish looking to feed Joe Morgan and Callum Carter up front at every opportunity.
The pressure eventually paid off from a set-piece when centre-back Marco Hiscox powerfully headed home a Cornish corner.
The visitors sent long balls forward as they searched for a way back into the game but Wells centre-back Dan Barker was equal to the task.
Adam Clark made a smart save to keep Wells ahead before Morgan made the game safe with seven minutes remaining when he chased down a high ball, outjumped the keeper and slotted into the empty net.
Wells will take on Bridgwater Town or Ashton & Backwell in the final in Weston-super-Mare on Wednesday, April 10 (7.30pm).
