Wells Carnival 2012 results: 'Fantastic' parade returns to High Street
Wells Carnival saw one of its most successful parades ever on Friday evening as the procession returned to the High Street after the controversial route change of last year.
Chairman Martin Coppell said: “It was a fantastic carnival and we must thank our main sponsors Wells City Council, Great Shakes, Tuckers Fish and Chip Shop for feeding the marshals and Wells Barber Shop. We have covered our expenses through sponsors and thank the wonderful people of Somerset for supporting us once more.”
