Wellington host night of football in memory of Selwyn Aspin
Wellington will be staging a special night of football this evening.
Players of all ages are coming together at the Playing Field to celebrate the life of club stalwart Selwyn Aspin, a former manager, who died last month.
The centrepiecewill be a match between Wellington Legends and Sampford Blues Legends – featuring former players from the two clubs.
The evening gets underway at 6pm with a sponsored penalty shootout competition for teams from the club’s youth section and Wellington Ladies.
