Weekend snow warning lifted for Somerset after revised weather forecast
Latest weather forecasts suggest Somerset will avoid the snow which is expected to hit the UK this weekend.
The Met Office has reviewed the area for its severe weather warning issued yesterday, indicating that the South West will now not be affected by the winter weather on Sunday.

Instead, the yellow warning of snow has now been issued for parts of the Midlands, Wales and the north of England.
Showers are now forecast to reach Somerset and the South West tomorrow, with further rain spreading north east on Sunday.
