Wednesday school closures in Somerset likely after heavy snow
Yeovil College has cancelled all its evening classes tonight due to this afternoon's heavy snowfall.
Both the college and the University Centre Yeovil will be closed this evening, although it is hoped the campus will be open as normal tomorrow.

More than 200 schools closed across the county on Friday due to the snow, and similar announcements are expected tomorrow morning.
A Somerset County Council spokesman said: “Head teachers and governing bodies are responsible for the day to day management of their schools, and this applies to academies to an even greater extent as they are independent of the county council.
