Wedmore Young Farmers Club tread the boards of The Playhouse, Weston-super-Mare
Wedmore Young Farmers Club took a dramatic turn at Weston-super-Mare’s Playhouse.
Up against three other clubs in the Somerset Federation of Young Farmers’ drama final, the farmers had an hour to do a one-act play or an excerpt last week.

Wedmore didn’t win with its wedding-themed First Time Around, the honour going to Williton and second-place Cutcombe.
But Jack Nicholls of the club did take home the senior ambassador of the year title, reserved for members aged 18 to 26.
