ETP Property Consultants in Clifton and David James and Partners' Wrington office have been appointed to market a licensed waste transfer centre in Hewish, near Congresbury. The property occupies a prominent position fronting the A370 that leads to Bristol to the east and to J21 of the M5 (Weston-super-Mare) to the west.

The site, which can comprise up to 1.45 acres, is available for sale and is licensed to process up to 74,999 tons of waste material per year.

Edward Le Masurier, Associate at ETP, said: "This property represents an excellent opportunity to acquire a fully licensed waste transfer centre in a highly accessible location. With companies and contractors coming under increasing pressure to dispose of their waste in a sustainable and responsible manner, we envisage a high level of demand for this site. There is a bungalow included in the sale that would make a site office, subject to necessary consents."
