Washing machine fire in Croscombe
A fire in Long Street, Croscombe, was dealt with by two fire engines from Shepton Mallet at 10pm last night.
The crews found a fire in the washing machine in the garage of a two-storey house.

They used breathing apparatus, a hose reel jet, and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire and get rid of the smoke.
