Shepton Mallet firefighters will be out in force in the town later this month with their buckets and sponges at the ready.
Their mission on Saturday, April 21, will be to wash as many vehicles as possible as part of the annual fundraising event nationwide to raise cash for the Fire Fighters Charity.

"Over the years, we have helped hundreds of thousands of individuals by providing world-class treatment and support services."
Jason said it costs £9 million a year to keep the charity running. And with no government funding it is completely reliant on the generosity and enthusiasm of supporters.
He and his colleagues are hoping for a good turn-out at the car wash event which takes place between 10am to 2pm in the car park at the Townsend Retail Park.
