Vodafone signal returns to Yeovil mobile customers after vandalised mast repaired
A vandalised mast in Langport that knocked out phone signal for Vodafone customers in the Yeovil area has now been fixed, a spokeswoman for the company confirmed.
Hundreds of people have been unable to use their mobile phones since Sunday after a mast at Picts Hill was targeted by vandals.
Reception across Yeovil was sporadic with some areas retaining a signal while others lost it completely.
A spokeswoman for Vodafone UK said engineers visited the site yesterday and equipment needed to fix the mast was delivered today.
