I write further to the invitation in a letter in the last edition of the Central Somerset Gazette for members of the public to visit the Red Brick Building Café on the Morlands site.

People considering doing that should also know by now that the café is an al fresco café on a building site used primarily by site workers as confirmed by letters to this newspaper.

That being the case members of the public should also be aware that a sign is displayed just outside of the café, (or was when I last passed by), warning people that: "This is a building site and people enter at their own risk" – or there are words to that effect.

I am not sure about how that wording affects any insurance the Red Brick Building Project has.

However, I would think that it has implications for limiting their legal liability for any injuries caused on the site.

Or at least it would lead any thinking person to suppose that to be the case.

So please do visit the café – but be aware it is at your own risk.
