Police in Wells are searching for thieves equipped with a crane who stole two tractors and a car from a field in Draycott.

The vintage tractors were in a field at New Road, Draycott and were taken between January 26 and 27. One tractor was a Massey Ferguson diesel, painted grey and a collectors item. It is known as a Grey Fergie, worth around £2,000.

The other tractor, a red Massey Ferguson 35 was suitable only for parts.

The car was a red Rover Metro GTA. Police believe the only way they could have been stolen was by lifting them over a hedge.
