A Somerset garden centre has been devastated by flooding for the second time in less than two months.

The Willowbrook Garden Centre, just off the A38 between Taunton and Wellington, was under around two feet of water at the height of this morning's flash floods.

Police closed the A38 between the two towns as water surged along the road.

The garden centre, on the corner of a stretch of the road by the Blackbird Inn, was completely submerged in water.

Owners had only just started to recover from the floods in late September, which caused huge amounts of damage and forced them to close for six weeks.

A skip of debris from the September floods was among the many objects left submerged in the flooded car park this morning.
