Video: Bridgwater woman and miniature bull terrier claim top Crufts prize
A Bridgwater woman and Magrat, a three-and-a-half-year-old Miniature Bull Terrier, proved every dog does have its day after walking away with a top prize at Crufts.
Magrat was one of over 25,000 dogs at Birmingham's NEC, presented by the Kennel Club, which is celebrating 140 years of promoting healthy, happy dogs, and claimed the prestigious Best of Breed award last weekend.

Owner Sally Richardson fought off competition from a number of other dogs to scoop the coveted prize.

“This is what you all strive to achieve. We are all passionate about our breeds,” she said.
“She is a brilliant dog to own. She comes to work with me at the dementia unit. In the middle of the night I will often find her in bed with one of the residents. She loves everyone at my home and gets along with all of them.
“I have been interested in Crufts for years. It all started in Olympia going back 40 years. I went to Crufts as a child so I have grown up throughout the dog scene. It’s a great event.”
