A VANDAL threw a brick through a Burnham jewellery shop causing hundreds of pounds of damage.

Police were called to Spangles in High Street on Monday, March 1, after someone reported seeing a youth hurl a brick and run off.

Store owner Penny Ricketts said she could not understand why someone would do this and that nothing appeared to have been stolen.
