Unlock your creative side
Those with a creative streak are invited to the delightful Blaise Hamlet in Henbury for a facilitated art day tomorrow.
Blaise Hamlet is a pretty hamlet of nine picturesque cottages laid out around an open green. The hamlet, which is four miles north of the city centre, was built in 1811 to accommodate retired staff from Blaise Castle estate in Henbury and is the perfect setting for a day of painting.
Everyone is welcome to the art day, whether you are an experienced artist or a beginner, and professional artist Moira Gillbrook will be on hand to offer advice and tuition.
Simply bring with you whatever materials you would like to use on the day, and feel free to bring a camping chair, although there are some benches around the green.
Enjoy exploring Tyntesfield's stunning trees with local expert Tony Titchen.
Tyntesfield's Tree Gazing event takes place on Saturday and is a fantastic walk for gardening or horticulture enthusiasts, or just if you want to learn something new.
