United see off Sports to close the gap on leaders
Mells & Vobster United beat Mid-Somerset League Premier Division leaders Chilcompton Sports 2-1 to move within two points of their opponents.
Two goals from Jake Wyatt were enough to inflict a first league defeat of the season on Sports and lift United to second spot.
All of the other matches in the league were postponed, along with every Somerset League, Frome & District League and Bath & District League fixture.
The only Toolstation League game to survive saw Cribbs Friends Life thrash Warminster Town 7-1 in Division 1, which means Welton Rovers remain 14th after their match at home to Keynsham Town was called off on Tuesday.
