Trump misses out in Bangkok
SNOOKER
Bristol's Judd Trump suffered disappointment yesterday as he missed out on a place in today's Sangsom SIx Reds World Championship final in Bangkok.
Last season's UK Championship finalist Trump slipped to a 7-2 semi-final defeat to former world champion Shaun Murphy in the Far East.
And defeat at the second major tournament of the season was especially hard to swallow with £40,000 on offer to this year's winner.

Murphy dominated from the start of the pair's best-of-11 frame showdown and quickly powered into a commanding 4-0 lead.
Whitchurch cueman Trump did pull two frames back but Murphy finished the job to set up a final with compatriot Ricky Walden,
Walden, the recent winner of the Wuxi Classic title – the first ranking tournament of the new season – impressed with a 6-2 victory over Mark Davis in their semi-final clash.
