Trip down memory lane at Midsomer Norton Railway Station
Volunteers at Midsomer Norton Railway Station took a nostalgic journey back to the 1940s at the weekend.
Despite the downpour of Sunday, visitors made the most of a heritage weekend dedicated to the theme of Railways at War.
An air raid siren sounded out over the town as volunteers and visitors dressed the part to take a step back in time to the dark days of World War Two.
Spam was on the menu in the tea room to add to the nostalgia, but for those with more modern taste buds there were plenty of alternatives.
Vintage road vehicles developed the feel of the event and there was some lively wartime action from members of the 4th Wilts Living History Group.
The tiny pill box museum full of memorabilia from the wartime period was also open to visitors for the weekend.
Organiser John Baxter said that despite the atrocious weather the event had been a success.
He said: "We had about 100 visitors and people enjoyed the weekend."
