Toy exchange nets £4,000 for charity

A Midsomer Norton charity shop received a bumper bonus thanks to a partnership with a leading retailer.

The Barnardo's shop in The Hollies, High Street, recently took part in the national Argos Toy Exchange.

The six-week campaign resulted in the local team receiving almost 390 extra bags of donations, estimated to be worth almost £4,000.

Shop manager Angie Cruickshank said: "We are delighted that the Argos Toy Exchange proved to be such a success.
