Johnson said: "Tuesday is an important game. This club built up its support after the FA Trophy win against Stevenage (in 2002) where we took a lot of people to Villa Park and we took a lot of people with us who stuck with us.

"We may need a Wembley trip to get our club going again and that is important for us to get that buzz back.

"We could still get beaten by Torquay but that is just talk and if we lose we will be really disappointed."

Carlisle United loanee Madden is cup-tied for the trip to Devon but defender Byron Webster is available after serving a one-match ban.

"We will be picking our best team and the team to get through to the next round," said Johnson.

"Short of putting the YTS lads in, I will be of course putting our professionals in.

"Of course it will be the team that we think will win the game.

"We have got to treat it like a league game because they (Torquay) are a decent side and I am sure they will want to get to the next round.

"We proved against West Brom that it was a close game and there have been a lot of teams knocked out by lower league teams.

"We got the trophy for the team of of the round (from the 3-0 defeat of Bristol Rovers), there must have been some bad games around but thank you and we thank people for it. But we are going to have to play better to win on Tuesday."
