Tony Good 'improving' after being seriously injured in road accident
Tony Good, fixtures secretary of the Taunton Saturday Football League, is said to be “improving” at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol after being involved in a road accident.
Good (68) broke both legs and suffered a head injury after being in collision with a lorry in his home town of Bridgwater late last week.
His wife Rita said last night: “He is coming out of an induced sleep but he is not quite fully awake yet.
“He loves his football and he’s got something to look forward to.”

Roger Palmer, secretary of Bridgwater Town Football Club, said: “It’s been a big shock for not only his family but his football friends. He lives, eats and sleeps football and is excellent at his job of fixtures secretary.”
The league discussed the implications of Good’s accident at a meeting last night.
