Toilets frequented by drug users are closed
Public toilets in Peasedown St John that have become a hotspot for antisocial behaviour and drug abuse have been closed.
The move has been made as a temporary solution while Bath and North East Somerset Council decides what to do with the block in Greenlands Road.

The decision has the backing of the Radstock Neighbourhood Policing Team, who reported concerns to the council that the toilets were being used mainly by drug users.
The council wants to hear views from the community about whether or not the toilets should be closed permanently.
Cabinet member for neighbourhoods, councillor David Dixon (Lib Dem, Oldfield) said: "It is clear that from the feedback B&NES has received from the police and ward councillors there is a clear case for closing these public toilets on a temporary basis. This gives the relevant authorities an opportunity to seek views from the public about what the future of these toilets should be."
The council will listen to views that people may have, which can be submitted until Monday, March 5, by sending an email topublic_protection@bathnes.gov.uk or by calling 01225 396914.
Ward councillors for Peasedown Sarah Bevan and Nathan Hartley are also keen to hear the views of local people about the future of the toilet block.
Mr Hartley said: "We welcome this opportunity for people to have their say about the public toilets which residents regularly tell us are a problem. We hope as many people as possible have their say by contacting the council or ourselves."
