Thursday's horse racing at Wincanton abandoned due to waterlogged racecourse
Tomorrow's race meeting at Wincanton Racecourse has been abandoned due to this morning's heavy rain.
Clerk of the course Barry Johnson had earlier called for an 8am inspection tomorrow morning, but further torrential downpours has left the South Somerset racecourse waterlogged. Mr Johnson said 12mm of rain fell on the track yesterday, with another 22mm overnight.
