On behalf of the Community Orchard @ Bagley, we would like to express our appreciation and thanks for the People of the Year 2009 award, which was presented to us on February 5 at Lanes.

This joint award from the Cheddar Valley Gazette and Lanes of Cheddar recognised the work and effort put in by the community at Bagley.

We were most grateful to be presented with a cheque for £200 from Lanes for winning the Lanes Environmental Project of the Year category.

Our thanks also to the mystery nominator.
