Teenager sexually assaulted in Chard on carnival night
A teenager was sexually assaulted in Chard on the night of the illuminated carnival and police are appealing to the public for information.
Detectives investigating the sexual assault say it took place in Redstart Park, some time between 11.30pm and 1am on Saturday, October 13.

A 16-year-old has been arrested and bailed in relation to the matter.
Officers investigating this incident are keen to speak to anyone how may have been in the park at the time of this incident, particularly a dog walker who was wearing dark clothing and carrying a torch.
