Teenage Frome shooter Amelia Dyer named in England Development Squad
A teenager from Frome has been selected to take part in the Commonwealth Shooting Federation's selection competition as part of the England Development Squad.
Amelia Dyer has been entered to take part in the 50m women's prone individual and pairs disciplines at the competition in the Isle of Man.
She will take on opponents from Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man, Northern Island, Channel Islands, Malta, Gibraltar and Cyprus.
The 15-year-old, who trains with the GB Junior Target Rifle Squad, said: "I would like to thank the ESSU (English Small-bore Shooting Union) for giving me the opportunity to represent England as part of their Development Team and would also like to thank Active Fleet Solutions for their support in helping me finance the trip."
