Frome made a bright start to the match as Luke Ballinger twice shot wide and had penalty appeals turned down, while Copp hit the post from 25 yards and Hulbert chipped just past the post after being sent through on goal.
However, the Peacocks took the lead against the run of play after 35 minutes when Ingram curled home a free-kick from the edge of the area, given for handball.
The Robins made the perfect response five minutes later when Ballinger's free-kick was headed home by Ford against his former club.
Taunton were ahead again moments later, though, when the ball was stolen from Dave Thompson as he tried to see it out of play and Plant tapped home.
Frome appeared to be working their way back into the game after the break as Ballinger had a volley tipped over by the keeper before curling the resulting corner against the bar.
However, two goals in five minutes from Marsh put Taunton 4-1 up, prompting Frome to bring Dave Gilroy off the bench.
He was in the action immediately, setting up Copp for his 70th-minute goal, but Marsh produced a great finish two minutes later to put the result beyond doubt.
Frome had a couple of chances for a third goal but Copp's stinging effort went wide and Ballinger's free-kick was brilliantly saved.
Taunton Town have been drawn away to Bridgwater Town in the semi-finals, while the other last-four tie will see Paulton Rovers host Bath City.
