Taunton Titans beaten in dramatic last minute against Lydney
A Tony Wicks conversion to a Dave Bennett try in the last play of a tense game secured what could be a priceless four points for Lydney in their 25-24 National League Two defeat of Taunton Titans.
The bonus point for the Titans keeps them out of the relegation zone with games in hand.

Wicks scored an early Lydney try, but Taunton replied with a try from Jack Claydon. Gary Kingdom converted and then kicked a penalty for a 10-5 lead to Titans.
The lead was cut to 10-8 by a Danny Trigg penalty.

Lydney pressured the Taunton line just before the break and focred a penalty try, trigg converted for a 15-10 lead.
Trigg had to go off after the break and Taunton plundered a tey from Mike Pope with Kingdom converting.
Wicks restored a narow lead with a penalty.
Taunton lock Paul Davis powered through a tackle to score near the posts.
Kingdom’s conversion put the Titans 24-18 in front with six minutes to go.
The clock was in the red numbers when finally Bennett drove over after a series of rucks under the crossbar. Wicks secured the points with the final kick of the game.
