Crisis talks over the future of Cheddar Tourist Information Centre are back on track.

The snow cancelled a meeting to find a way to fund the tourism office and its Burnham-on-Sea counterpart two weeks ago.

But now an open meeting will be held at the offices of Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge Town Council on Jaycroft Road, Burnham-on-Sea on Thursday, January 28.

Sedgemoor District Council said it has no budget to continue running the centres after March 31. New ways of funding must be found to keep the services open.

“Tourist income is the only hope the UK has of earnings with no manufacturing products to think of closing this important information centre is as crazy as Mr Brown spending 160 Billion on Wind faarms, Nuts. How to destroy England with all its lovely assests just who could think of such crazy ideas...madness reigns.
