Talented student cooks up a storm at Dunkerton show
Beautiful blooms and perfect vegetables filled the parish hall at Dunkerton for the community's 26th annual show.
The locally-grown flowers, fruit and vegetables were on show alongside handicrafts and a photographic section.
Star entrant this year was George Beechener who swept the board in the cookery classes.
Multi-talented George, a former Writhlington student, is heading for Oxford University to study geography after scoring two As and A* in his A-level results.
Jo Cudmore won the Queenie Horwood Cup for most points overall, narrowly beating Clare Taylor who won the award for most points by a first-time entrant.
The junior class winners were Becky Gardiner and Imogen Dallimore.
The auction of donated produce raised over £100 for parish hall funds.
