TV review: By Any Means
Is Warren Brown the UK's busiest actor?
Is there a dark heart lurking in everyone, even those with an impeccable reputation?
That initially appeared to be the case in last night's By Any Means, when Jack Quinn and his team learned about a murder from informant Helen Barlow.
A young girl's body had been found in the boot of a car belonging to well-respected judge Peter Hopkins, and all the evidence suggested he was the only person who could have killed her.

But Hopkins is whiter than white, a law-enforcer who has seemingly never been tempted to stray to the dark side. Helen believes that Hopkins may have been framed by ex-cop Joe Tyrus, who holds a grudge against him.
This ongoing drama is another feather in the cap for Warren Brown, one of our busiest actors at the moment.
So how would he describe By Any Means?
"It follows a team that go after criminals that the police can't catch for various reasons," he explained. "They're not actually police officers; almost vigilantes – it's all a bit ambiguous as to who's in charge. Is it MI5, further up or just a different branch?"
Earlier this year, Warren popped up in Byzantium, Neil Jordan's gothic vampire thriller starring Gemma Arterton.
You may have seen it, but Warren has been so busy he hasn't got round to it yet.
Sharp-eyed viewers may have spotted the eponymous hotel sign as a junk yard in-joke during an episode of Luther.
As much as we'd like to skirt around Idris Elba's show when talking about Warren's career, that hit saga is unavoidable.
If you've seen the final few episodes of that show, you'll know Warren's character, Justin Ripley, does not come out of it too well.
Writer Neil Cross is hoping his prequel movie gets a green light soon. When it does, we imagine champion Thai boxer Warren won't have too much trouble keeping up with the potentially exhausting shoot.
