TV chef to share skills with students
TOP TV chef Arthur Potts-Dawson will be visiting Weston College to share his skills with catering students.
Mr Potts-Dawson (pictured), who helped Jamie Oliver launch his Fifteen chain of restaurants, will be among culinary experts gathering at the college for the Chefs Forum.
The forum, a collective of industry professionals dedicated to sharing their skills with students, will meet at the college's Hans Price Conference Centre on Monday, for a day of events. Mr Potts-Dawson will help students prepare welcome canapés before giving a talk and a demonstration in the afternoon.
He will be joined by James Wilkins, Bristol's newest Michelin-starred chef, and Amy Hunt, a former Weston College student who has opened her own restaurant, Oak & Glass, in Uphill, Weston-super-Mare. Chefs and industry representatives from across the south west have been invited to the event, marking the college's partnership with the Chefs' Forum.
