TIMELINE: The murder of Bristol man Bijan Ebrahimi
Thursday, July 11: Mr Ebrahimi is wrongly accused of being a paedophile after he allegedly took pictures of children he believed had damaged his flowers. Police arrest him on suspicion of breach of the peace. He also calls the police to make a complaint that day.
Friday, July 12: Mr Ebrahimi is released without charge and returns home. Police find no evidence of criminal activity on either his mobile phone camera or personal computer.
Early hours of Sunday, July 14: Lee James beats Mr Ebrahimi to death. Fellow neighbour Stephen Norley helps drag his body about 100 yards to Whitmore Avenue, where they set it alight.
September 20: Independent Police Complaints Commission confirm six police officers have been served gross misconduct notices. Three have been suspended while three remain on duty.
October 2: Lee James, 24, admits murder, at Bristol Crown Court.
October 22: Stephen Norley admits assisting an offender, at the crown court.
