Surgery for dog that ate toy car and rubber duck
Mobile phones, human dentures and underwear are among unusual items dogs have eaten, according to a survey of owners by Bayer Animal Health as part of a Be Lungworm Aware campaign.
Of more than 2,000 people quizzed, nearly three-quarters said their pet had eaten something they shouldn’t.

Among them was Indie, a two-year-old labrador from Bradley Stoke, near Bristol, who had surgery twice after eating a toy car (see picture) and a rubber duck.
