Supermarket backs diabetes charity
TESCO in Shepton Mallet has teamed up with local supplier Yeo Valley to support Diabetes UK.
Diabetes UK will be at the front of the store with buckets for customers to throw their change in on October 24-26.
Anyone buying a copy of the Shepton Mallet Journal or bringing in a voucher from the paper between 10am-4pm, on those dates will be given a bag of free lunchbox items and encouraged to donate to the charity.
Diabetes UK and Tesco are working together to create healthier communities, and to support everyone affected by and at risk of diabetes.

Thousands of people will be able to take action to reduce their risk of Type 2 diabetes with the partnership's help.
There are three million people in the UK living with diabetes, and around 850,000 more who have Type 2 diabetes, but do not know it.
Around seven million adults in the UK, which is one in seven, are at high risk of diabetes.
Diabetes is also a major cause of lower limb amputation, blindness, kidney failure, stroke and as a result 24,000 people die early from diabetes every year.
