Students on run for charity
A Street school broke out their running shoes last week to help raise money for good causes.
Students at Crispin School dressed up in fancy dress, strapped on their trainers and took part in the run in overcast but warm conditions.
The majority of pupils took part either wearing their PE kit or imaginative fancy dress costumes.
The school staff were also involved in the run by manning the route and calling encouragingly to the pupils as they ran the three and a half miles which included the school grounds, Street moor, the banks of the River Brue and finally along The Causeway and Glaston Road.
Paul James, head teacher at Crispin School said: "The fun run has become an eagerly anticipated event with the whole school keen to get involved.
"All of the money raised by the event is donated to charities and to good causes which are all chosen by our pupils."
