Student aims to scale Mount Kilimanjaro for African youngsters
Former Chew Valley School pupil Anna Hutchinson will be scaling the heights later this year.
And it's all in a good cause because she will be raising money for a charity that helps send African children to school.
Anna, who comes from Temple Cloud, in now in the third year of her degree at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
But in June she will be swapping her books for climbing boots when she travels to Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania for her charity climb.

Her aim is to raise money for TEACH (Time to educate Africa's children). The charity believes that every child has the basic right to an education and works to alleviate poverty through the power of education.
She said: "It's going to be a massive challenge but it's for a great cause. I'm trying to raise as much money as I can for the charity."
The trek will last eight days – five and a half days climbing and two days walking back down the mountain. Anna will then spend two days in a school in Tanzania, established by TEACH
It's not the first time that she has done her bit for charity. In 2010 she spent a month in China, which involved working in an orphanage.
"I helped decorate the new baby care section. We also raised a large amount of money which we donated to a charity, which was helping to rebuild the area that was destroyed by the Chengdu earthquake."
She is now working hard on her fitness but knows that no amount of training will prepare her for the altitude sickness which she could face because the mountain rises to 19,341 above sea level.
Apart from the challenges she likes taking on, Anna loves to travel and hopes to spend up to a year travelling around Australia when she finishes her degree.
Her ultimate ambition is to the join the police.
