Striker Dean Stamp leaves Taunton Town
Former Exeter City and Truro City striker Dean Stamp has quit Taunton Town – less than two months after joining the Evo-Stik Southern League club.
Taunton boss Leigh Robinson explained last night: “Dean found that he couldn’t commit to the level required to play at this standard so is going back to play locally. He is a cracking lad though and we wish him all the best.”
Stamp was one of four players to join Taunton during the close season from Toolstation League side Willand Rovers, the others being Dave Hambly, Ben Mammola and Rob Norrish.
