Street-based triathlete Josh Boon beat a host of older rivals to win the Sidmouth Aquathlon.

Despite having been out of training for five weeks with a fractured wrist, the 15-year-old beat all the adult entrants over the 600m swim and 5km run.

Boon showed no signs of a lack of fitness as he romped home in 26mins 47secs and has now set his sights on larger events, including the Blenheim and London triathlons this summer, where he will race against the best competitors in the country in his age group.
