Street man faces trial over assault allegations
A Street man has been ordered to stand trial facing two allegations of assaulting his former partner.
Aran Tyler Ellis, aged 22, of Brooks Road, appeared before South Somerset and Mendip magistrates sitting as a special domestic violence court.
He pleaded not guilty to assaulting his former partner by beating her during an incident at Street on November 8, and also denied a similar offence alleged to have taken place three days later.
The case was reviewed and both matters adjourned for a trial to take place on June 10.
