A ghost story, written by Paul Baxter of Pensford, is to be performed for Halloween tomorrow, at 8pm in Pensford Memorial Hall.
Paul said: "The play is a ghost story set in Skegness in the 1980s where both Laura and I grew up.
"Generally ghost stories are best when they are a surprise so I won't give you a run down of the story but it is a traditional chiller that should be perfect for Halloween.
"That said, I should tell you that I don't see the point of such stories if people don't find them scary.

"I would encourage very young children, pregnant women and those of a nervous disposition to stay away.
"There is no overtly adult content and nothing gory happens on stage but this is not a story about a bear who goes shopping, so be warned.
"I find ghost stories quite hard to write. The challenge for me is to make the whole story satisfying and believable, not just the start. The upshot of this is that the story is set firmly in the real world with all that entails.
"I have been lucky enough to find some brilliant local actors for the play."
It is on for one night only and tickets, which cost £5, can be bought at Pensford Post Office, or by ringing Paul and Laura on 01761492599.
Proceeds will go to charity Stanton Wick Action Group.
