Spike in traffic accidents
IT's been a week of crashes on the roads of central Somerset.
On Thursday last week the roads around the B&Q roundabout in Glastonbury saw a motorcyclist injured in a collision shortly after 10am.
The road was closed for much of the day, with police originally believing the motorcyclist had been seriously injured.
Then on Sunday evening there was a car crash in Walton just after 6pm.
Both the male driver and passenger were taken to hospital.
An air ambulance was called, but was not required.
Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue said the one-car collision saw the car left Mildred Road and "was on its roof in the middle of a vehicle".
The incident was left in the hands of the police and ambulance service.
And on Tuesday afternoon a three-car-pile-up on the A39 Northbound at Lowerside Lane in Glastonbury caused delays for motorists.
No-one is believed to have been seriously hurt in the incident.
