The Spians prepare to take to the stage again
A drama group based at a pub in West Pennard are gearing up for their next production – in aid of charity.
"The Spians" drama group is presenting "Matters Arising" at 8pm at the Hobhouse Theatre, Bruton School for Girls on Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23.
Written and directed by group member Richard Moore, the play is set in a London drawing room where the family are gathering to hear the wishes of the late Peregrine Marston-Manning Esq.
But the details of the will are not altogether what might have been expected.

Mr Moore said "The Spians" are hoping their latest production will attract lots of interest and support. Tickets are £7.50 each and all the proceeds from both nights will be donated to the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
There are a limited number of seats, and advance bookings are required.

They group have raised money for various charities including Help For Heroes and the Warrior Programme, which particularly helps ex-service personnel and the homeless.
