Special football day kicks off for soccer-mad fathers
Football fanatic fathers have the chance to share their passion for the beautiful game at a special Euro 2012 Dads' Group at Radstock Children's Centre.
Dads and male carers are invited to go along and join in the fun with lots of activities for all ages to enjoy; including flag making, goal scoring practice, ball dribbling competition and fun crafts such as making medals from 10am till 10.30am on Saturday (June 30).
The Dads' Group usually takes place on the fourth Saturday of the month at Radstock Children's Centre, which is run by Bath and North East Somerset Council, for children up to 11 years of age.
It is part of the Celebrating Fatherhood campaign which recognises the importance of fathers in their children's lives. Evidence shows that fathers, and other male role models, have a big impact on the quality of children's lives – including boosting confidence and self-esteem as well as benefiting their progress educationally.
