Somerset Rebels to stage Premier League Pairs Championship in 2013

Cases Somerset Rebels will host the Premier League Pairs Championship for the seventh successive year in 2013.

The Rebels' Oaktree Arena circuit at Highbridge has firmly established itself as the home of the championship, which is traditionally held the night before the British Speedway GP at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium.

This year's Pairs Championship will be held at the Oaktree on Friday night, May 31.

Rebels promoter Debbie Hancock said: “We are all delighted that we will once again be staging one of British Speedway’s prestige events here at the Oaktree Arena.

The Somerset promotion has also announced two new sponsors for the 2013 Premier League speedway season.

TQ Excel, which specialises in training for the highway section of the construction industry, become team partners, while Tor Multimix Ltd from Glastonbury will be team associates.
